MDO Landscape & Pools
Most Desired Outdoor — where architecture meets nature.
A boutique luxury landscape and swimming pool design-and-build firm, known for taking on only eight to ten villa projects at a time so its founders stay hands-on from concept to completion.
MDO — short for Most Desired Outdoor — is a Dubai-based, full-service landscape and swimming pool design-and-build studio founded in 2018 by directors Matt and Miguel. The firm has built its reputation on a deliberately boutique model: only eight to ten projects at a time, so the founders remain personally involved from first sketch through final handover.
The studio’s design language is unmistakably modern — clean geometry, bold forms, repetition and contrast — guided by a less-is-more philosophy that draws a strong visual line between landscape and architecture.
MDO works turnkey — landscape design, 3D visualisation, municipality permits, construction, custom pools, outdoor kitchens and lighting — for villa owners in Dubai’s premium golf and villa communities, with a team of close to one hundred people behind the two founders.
